Sembal House is situated in West Hill St Austell it was opened & run by St Austell Old Peoples Welfare Committee. In the early days it was a thriving concern & in constant use. It now opens Tuesdays & Fridays 9.30am to 1.00pm for tea,coffee & a biscuit, tea 40p a cup & coffee 50p, biscuits included. Monday is Darby & Joan day 2.00pm to 4.00pm pop in for a coffee, chat & a game of bingo. Several organisations use the room on a weekly or monthly basis. The room is available to let on a donation basis. It is also now home to the St Austell District Chamber of Commerce & Industry. If you need anymore information contact Sandra Heyward 01726 65045.
